We prefer to source plant-based raw materials in their unprocessed state. At our Gittelde site, we use 22 of our own production lines to gently process dried plants according to our customers' specifications. We do this, of course, in compliance with the highest quality standards.

Mixing and Packaging

Our products, such as herbal teas or powders for use in spirits or food manufacturing, are mixed particularly evenly using extra-large drums. Although low speeds take significantly longer, they cause less breakage.

Although we primarily store and resell goods in bulk, we also offer goods packaged in smaller quantities for consumers. We can also package goods according to individual requirements, from units of 100 grams or 100 pieces up to large orders, in both customer-specific and standard packaging.

Shredding and Separation

We turn plants into plant-based raw materials. Leaves, flowers, berries, roots, wood, bark and herbs are chopped professionally in various processing steps. The resulting products can be cut or ground to different sizes, right down to flour-fine powders. Just as you need them.

Air currents are used to separate vegetables into their constituent parts. Stones, stalks and other unwanted components are separated out. The same applies to tiny metal particles, which are reliably detected by metal detectors. Typical Galke, in other words.

Quality Control and Analysis

High, consistent quality standards and product safety are essential requirements for plant-based raw materials, particularly in the food sector. To guarantee this beyond doubt, we test our raw materials for a variety of relevant parameters. This involves standardised analyses by external laboratories and the option of taking your company's specific requirements into account.

Pest Control and Germ Reduction

Pest control is an issue when using natural, plant-based products. Our pressure disinfestation system can hold up to eight Euro pallets or containers in two special containers. Using natural CO2 makes pest control simple, reliable and environmentally friendly.

We can counteract contamination and reliably improve the microbiological status of plant-based raw materials using steam treatment.
