The World Meets in Gittelde

Our warehouse on the edge of the Harz Mountains is home to a wide variety of herbs, spices and other plant-based raw materials, including many unique specialities from all over the world. Here, they are refined, processed and packaged before being sent back out to our customers from a wide range of industries all over the world.

These processes run smoothly partly thanks to the knowledge that has been passed down within our family for decades. It is also thanks to a team that has worked together for many years and cares deeply about nature.

From All Over the World, to All Over the World

We are traders. Since 1920. Since then, no place has been too far away for us and no herb has been too unfamiliar. We do everything we can to include interesting plant-based raw materials in our range. Currently, we source from 79 countries. We are equally committed to our customers, who are based in all corners of the world, both well-known and lesser-known.

In Use Everywhere

The areas of application of our plant-based raw materials are as diverse as nature itself. These are just some of the industries we supply. New ones are constantly being added. Whether you are a spirits manufacturer, a manufacturer in the food, pharmaceutical or cosmetics industries, a wholesaler or retailer, a processor, a zoo, an alternative practitioner or a pharmacy, you have come to the right place.

Family and Team

As an owner-managed family business, we pursue a long-term corporate strategy based on our values. Our business partners and, above all, our employees recognise the advantages of this stability and have trusted us for many decades.

(Renewable) Growing Enthusiasm

Perhaps the best way to sum up our attitude to what we do every day is a love for the region, a passion for nature and a willingness to give it our all. Sustainability has always been a key criterion. This is partly because our raw materials would be impossible without an intact natural environment. Wherever harvesting and gathering take place, time and space are needed for new growth. Live and let live. Only those who understand this and act accordingly can ensure renewed enthusiasm, also for future generations.
