The king amongst the pepper varieties is also known as Australian pepper. It thrives in the extremely varied southern Pacific climate on the island of Tasmania and distinguishes itself with its manifold taste: At the beginning it is sweet and fruity, then follows its strong pepper spiciness. A tone of fine tree fungus and the earthy yet light clove-like taste make up the charm of this berry.
